  1. Absolutely! Treat with Melafix. You can find it at any local petstore and even wal mart carries it. If the eye falls out you will def need to treat with melafix, as the socket can become infected. If you have any further questions I would try www.aquapuppies.com

They have TONS of info and amazing people. They've helped me SO much.

  2. Cloudy eyes are almost always a result of a gram positive bacterial infection, so treating with a fungal medication would be next to useless.  Instead, I'd treat with Maracyn (erythromycin), EM Tabs (also erythromycin), Maracyn TC (tetracycline), or TC Capsules (also tetracycline).  Both are extremely broad-spectrum-effective and should clear up the issue quickly.  Keep the water very clean during treatment and be sure to remove any activated carbon from the filter.  Also, if treating with tetracycline, keep the tank dark, as it degrades (making it more toxic!) with exposure to light.

  3. Yes, your fish can be saved.  Go to your local petstore and buy popeye or antifungal or antibacterial medication (It'll have pictures on the boxes.  Match the picture with what your fish looks like).  Or post a picture of your fish here or show a picture to the people at the pet store.  Use the medication that matches the illness and he'll be fine.
