  1. It is completely wrong to vote for someone based on race, s*x, or religion.  Every candidate should be looked at in terms of their overall experience, record, and ability to represent our country.  Obama fails miserably on at least 2 of these items.  What is amazing is that he has made it this far without really disclosing anything as to his policies and positions.

  2. i like you man.

US senate is a joke. They only pass bills that are good for the country if the other party gets to throw in a stipulation that benefits there agenda.

I agree with everything you said.

as far as race, of course it's wrong.

Faith is Evil? that would depend on if your referring to religion as faith. if so evil goes hand in hand with Lies, Imposed Fear, blood and war so ya that would be right. but there is no evil in the hope type of faith.

MB (above ) must think that going to war for your country is representing your country.

  3. yes but people are going to do it anyways.

  4. Yes - to all.

  5. I'm going to go with what Martin Luther King Jr. said and judge (and vote) based on the content of a person's character. Obama has demonstrated he has none. He dumped Rev. Wright when it was decided his rhetoric was too inflammatory and a voter turn off. Obama only wore the flag pin because it "looked" patriotic and not because he believes in what it stands for. His speeches only talk about the negative aspects of this country (citizens included). Anyone so lacking allegiance and integrity is not fit to be the President of the United States. When someone black does hold that office I want to be proud to vote for him or her.

  6. No, people vote for people for far less ideological reasons. Voting for someone to help the black community is a noble goal as long as you believe that person will do at least a marginally good job.

  7. As an American you have the right to vote or not vote for whomever want for Any reason, even if it's all the wrong ones.

My city, State and Districts are so locked up the only election worth voting in if any is the democratic primary. the only reason I bother at all is it puts me in the pool for Jury duty, which gets me out of the house, breaks the te deum, and buys me lunch for a day.  Having mental and physical disabilities I have yet to get through a peremptory challenge yet.
