Black rims on ford escape?

Question

a few weeks ago me and my friend painted his scion tc's rims black, and they came out really nice. So now we wanna paint myn black, but im unsure of exactly how it would look. The rims are only 16's so i didnt know if it would look like im trying to be cool or what. the car looks like this

yeah i would do it but personally i would get some different rims. but it would look better than what it looks like now

personaly i would't do it and if ur gonna do a good paint job on them
