Black tea mix well with green tea?

would either tea like idk cancel out one, or would the like properties of both teas still be the same

Black tea and Green tea are from the same plant (Camellia Sinensis).

The difference between the two is that Black tea is left out to oxidize, giving it  its dark color and deeper flavor, though loosing some of its antioxidant qualities, while Green tea is processed and packaged much sooner. Oolong (or Woolong) tea, I believe, is allowed to oxidize to a point between the two.

Mixing the two certainly should not reduce the effects of the other.

green tea has anti oxident properties even when mixed.  I usually mix it half and half because my husband doesn't likegreen tea.

Since they are close in families, as in plants, they should not cause any form of a chemical reaction that would cancel out or neutralize one or the other's properties.  I mix black and green tea at home all the time and serve to my family & myself.  I have never noticed anything odd, but then again I have never asked a chemist to test or analyze the combination of the two!
