Black thunder Water Park- Is it hygenic?

Is the resort a safe place for families? Can we stay in the resort and visit Ooty OR better to stay in Ooty hotels to visit Ooty?

The location of Black thunder is just the footstep of Ooty hills. However, balck thunder is the only entertainment there and travelling to Ooty everyday (in case),for sight seeing could be strenuous. YOu could book a resort at Ooty and drop in at Black thunder before u go to ooty or return from ooty. Ooty is such a lovely place and it would be better for you to stay in Ooty. Ooty could be ur center from where you could travel to Conoor or Dodda Betta, which will give u more time for sight seeing. Make a trip up or down from Ooty via Kothagiri which is really a splendid one. You will have a scenic view of the tea estates more than what u see in the usual mettupalayam ooty route..you could visit the Kodanadu view point from where one can see the entire stretch of the Moyar river. This place is less know to people and hence its peaceful to visit and enjoy. The other places are:

The Black thunder water park is good and hygenic. YOu could spend the whole day there. There are lockers to put in your luggage and change ur wet clothes. There will be no need to hire a resort there....

It is ok.  But not as good as expected.

Ooty, was a nice place, earlier.  It is stinking with garbage.

The weather is good.
