My mom just got this phone. and i was wondering how long does it take to charge up. because all it is showing is the hour glass. plz i need some help.

It should be showing a charging indicator, not an hour glass.

Unplug the charger, take out the battery for a few minutes, and then replace the battery.

The phone should turn on and give you a screen. Make sure you have more than an hour glass before you plug in the charger.

If there is still an hour glass, the phone is either broken or the software needs to be reloaded.
