Blackberry 8310 or Palm Centro?

Question

I am in between the Blackberry 8310 or Parlm Centro. All I mainly want to do is text message and put appointments in my calender and have it alert me. I do not need email or internet use. Just text and organization. Which one would be the best phone to get for what I want to do? Thanks in advance.
