Blackberry 8330: how do I make the "@" symbol?

I'm trying to write my log-in name for facebook and other sites that require my e-mail address but I can't figure out how to do the @! Spacebar, enter, etc, they don't work and I can't find the symbol.... help please... Thank you!

i have a blackberry curve soo yea

but um

on the `P' key is the @ sign

so press alt+P and u should get it
