Blackberry Curve 8310 Bluetooth?

I have had this phone for about two weeks and i was wanting to bluetooth a ringtone from my old phone. I know it can be done b/c i sent it to my mom before i took my sim card out. But when i tried to send it to my new phone it said that a connection could not be established. I was just wondering if it is b/c it is a blackberry? I can send it from my moms phone to my dads. But she has a ravor the brand new one and dad has some kind of nokia. when i turn on her bluetooth and mine and it says that they are paired but it wone let me send anything to them. Thanks for your help.

I just did this myself... on my BlackBerry 8300.

Make sure that your bluetooth is turned on discoverable. Put in a passkey. Do the same for their phones and then it will be paired. Then you can send whatever you want to the phone.
