Blackberry Curve error when dialing?

Question

When I attempt to dial a phone number "Input system error system is being restarted" comes up and I can only dial one number at a time and the message keeps repeating. The Blackberry website isn't helping and neither is Verizon. Please help thanks.

Try a hard reset first: remove the battery from the BlackBerry (while it is still powered on) for 10 seconds, then reinsert.
