  1. zune wtf is that? IPOD BABAY!

  2. I would just go with the Pearl. its a great phone but it kind of defeats the purpose if your only getting it for texting and talking. I know its a great phone but its really not worth the money if thats all your using it for, but like i said if you had to choose i would go with the Pearl if money wasn't an issue then go for the Curve there both excellent and I've used both personally good luck and if you have any more questions to decide about getting them or not you may email me if you feel incline it is (nakmuay5@yahoo.com)

  3. I just bought a Black Blackberry Pearl 8100 today for $99.99 at T-Mobile and i like it im 16 yrs old

i think the curve looks businessy the pearl to me doesnt look like that.....its small i like it so far and i just changed the color of the cursor by downloading Color Pearl.its software for the Blackberry

I would say get the pearl but its still YOUR decision

    And I Don't have E-mail or Internet

  4. BOTH!!! haha...

  5. Why the heck does a 14 year old need a phone like that?

  6. let em have both

  7. The pearl is a much smaller phone and the only reason i got it was because of its size. It has the full qwerty keyboard and at the same time is much smaller than the curve. The features of the pearl and curve are about the same and if you don't care about the size of the phone, the curve should be a bit quicker with typing especially if your quick with your computer keyboard. Typing with the pearl is very simple as well, but i would go with the curve unless you would want a much thinner phone such as the pearl. . . I personally like the pearl better

  8. Most service providers do not allow you to tailor out the email function of specifically the Blackberry phones.   On the same note these generally cost more then a regular phone monthly because of this fact.  Blackberry's are business phones and probably not suited for a 14 year old.  If it needs to have the keyboard for texting then getting a smartphone is probably a better option, it may cost more initially but being as blackberry phones generally start at 20 dollars more monthly it will probably save money in the end, and be far more functional in terms of multi-media and such.

  9. I say no.

Most of my daughters friends already have their own phones and she's only 8.  There is no reason unless you're overly paranoid and want him/her to have it for safety reasons.

  10. the primary function of a pda is internet and email. take it from a former at&t sales rep.......you are wasting your money buying a child a pda.....it's very unnecessary..... a basic flip phone or a slider would be more suitable. also when you buy a pda most carriers offer you a mail in rebate, but in the fine print it says you must add a data (email/internet) package. just something to consider!

  11. i would say pearl curve has hyad more probloms
