Blackberry Curve question regarding setting message alert?

I've changed the setting once before to a 'cricket' sound and now I cannot figure out how to change it to a ringtone I downloaded. Anyone know how to help??

I'm going to try my best to run you through my process with my Curve. Hopefully, it will help.

1. Select "Profiles"

2. Scroll down to "Advanced"

3. Highlight the profile you intend to change

4. Select "Edit"

5. Select "Messages"

6. Scroll to/select "Tunes"

From here on you should be able to select your different tunes. As long as your downloaded ring tone is saved in the "Ring Tones" category in your media section, it should show up in the list of files to select from. All of my uploaded files are usually near the top of the list.
