I'd go with the curve.  I had a Windows Mobile phone [like the Blackjack] and was not terribly impressed with the operating system.  But if you're going to get a blackberry, make sure you get a data plan!

ill say Blackberry Curve  becuase its nice my friend has 1 and he loves it

my nephew has the curve, & I have the blackjack 2, both are great devices, I would check them both out at an AT&T store before deciding anything, because I can't tell what you need/desire from a pda
