Blackberry Home Screen Icons?

I added an application and I have to go into the application icon to access it. How can I add a shortcut to this application on my home screen?

Roll over the icon and press the menu button. Select 'move' and roll it up to the top 5 or 10 icons that appear on your home screen (depending on the theme and configuration you use). Then press the trackball to "drop" it there and go back to your home screen. You can adjust any icon's position by using the 'move' option.
