Blackberry Pearl 8110 - Unlocking Question?

I have the above on Vodafone - I want to get it unlocked to o2, but need to know if there are any disadvantages to doing so.

Also, do you know where I can get it done reputably? Do o2 or Vodafone do it, or am I forced to go to a dodgy market stall?
