Blackberry Pearl 8130?

Question

I just recently purchased a blackberry pearl 8130 and I was wondering if you can turn down the sound when playing a game. I know you can turn down the volume for music and videos and change your phone to vibrate. But is there a way to mute the sound of a game or application. As well, is the mute button on the top of the blackberry just for standby mode? Last, does anybody know or recommend any great site where they offer content for your blackberry? Thanks.
