Blackberry Pearl Problems?

I recently purchased a Blackberry Pearl, and it's been working fine until recently. For some reason, when I try to access my address book by scrolling to the icon and clicking on it, my device freezes. The only way to unfreeze is to press the end call button. This does not happen when I click on any of the other icons. Can someone please tell me why my phone is doing this and how to make it stop? Thanks.

I got the same problem too. It end up with totally freeze. Couldn't even turn on my device. I went to the store and the send new one for me.
