Blackberry Pearl or the Pantech Duo?

I like the pantech duo because mirosoft and double slider but also like the blackberry pearl but i don't know cause my has the orginal blackberry and her phone automatically dials people unless she puts it on keyboard lock and i don't want be always putting it on keyboard lock.Help Please!

I just traded in my pantech for a curve, the curve recognizes when its in its case (can't speak for the pearl) and locks itself in standby...saving power. My major issue with the pantech was if you make your own ringtones, its really picky about size..bitrate..and format. The Blackberry is much more customizable and accepts any mp3 for both ringtones as well as text alerts. The raised keys of the blackberry also make for much easier texting than the flat keys of the pantech. I was always inserting spaces where i didnt want them due to the lay out of the keyboard.
