Blackberry Pearl text messages?

How do I prevent my text messages from deleting? I chose to keep messages "forever" but it still deletes my text messages and today for some reason I was unable to receive text messages... this is annoying!

Did you make sure you save your settings on your BlackBerry? Your BlackBerry may also attempt to delete the messages if you don't have enough memory on your BlackBerry, never ran out of memory though, so it's just a guess. As for not being able to receive text messages it could be because of tower congestion depending on the area you are in. If your with AT&T I know they have been updating there towers due to the up and coming 3G network.

Yes, I agree. You may not have enough memory.  My Blackberry Pearl 8100 did that too until I deleted a lot of unneeded pictures. Go to Options, then Status. The File Free should be at least 10,000,000 bytes. If that doesn't work, email me:
