Blackberry Picture Mail?

Can someone please why after purchasing my Blackberry curve do I find out that you can not send picture mail to another persons phone. None of the service providers can explain it. Why must i send it in email format. Does Blackberry not as advanced as every other phone in the entire world? What is the issue? is it going to be resolved SOON or do have to eat the $500 and throw this piece of c**p away and go with a phone whose company has figured it out 10 years ago?

i also have a blackberry curve you have to create a mms message that is ur picture messaging the sms is texting so go like your composing a text but hit compose mms and then it will go into it then hit the menu button and hit attach file if that don't work please let me know.

Eric20FL is correct. The issue isn't that BlackBerrys cannot send MMS messages, it is just Sprint's network that doesn't allow MMS messages from their BlackBerrys.

I am with T-Mobile and send MMS messages from my BlackBerry all the time without issue.

The issue is Sprint's MMS infrastructure. It is not written the same as other providers so it cannot deliver or send MMS the same way everyone else does with smartphones (PDA, Blackberry, etc) I have heard rumors that it may be fixed by the end of the summer.... but then its a rumor.

Yes, you can send a pic to someone's 'phone email address' as indicated below. I know this is not the best way, but its the only way... unless you ditch sprint for someone else.
