Yes, its called "MMS".  When you have a picture to send, menu key and select send as MMS, and then select someone from your phone book to send to their phone.

nope. text messages are just for text. mms and emails can contain multemedia attachments (pics videos music more)

you can send pix, but keep in mind that the curve does not have a video camera.
