Blackberry curve 8300 wont play my ringtone that i assigned

Question

i put an mp3 in my ringtones folder and in my music folder. then i selected use as my phonetune...right?

well for some reason it did assigned when i check my profile, but it is playing the default phone tune when someone calls. when i change it to a different song, it will play that as my phone tune...so is there something wrong with the song? its an mp3 just like all the others.
