Blackberry curve????

can you get the blackberry curve with out a plan from tmobile. im thinking of getting it on the flexpay plan where theres no contract. but if you stop paying once a month and just use prepaid cards will it still work??

You don't have to get a data plan to use the BlackBerry on T-Mobile, but it is recommended. You won't be able to use any data features, just calling and texting. T-Mobile has a plan called BlackBerry Minutes and Mail that gives you 1000 Anytime Minutes (no nights and weekends), unlimited texting and unlimited data for $59.99. That's the plan I am using.

Yes you can. You can download the desktop manager and synchronize your contacts, email, pictures, music (depending what model you have). But you will have to keep plugging the device to your computer to update any data, its tiresome.

But the whole point of having a Blackberry is so you can use the device to access the internet, download, get you emails all done wireless. The Blackberry is meant to be use for users on the go.

Without a data plan its just a phone. You can get any phone cheaper with the same features.

If this is more recreational, get something that will fit your need, like the LG Dare...
