Blackberry on PAYG HELP!?

Question

I have a Blackberry Pearl and I'm having a total mission unlocking it from Vodafone to O2. I have an O2 PAYG sim, is this why it's not working as I want it to? It has been unlocked to O2, but seems I cannot use the web/email etc.

you need to change the settings for the black berry.

it is currently on the vodafone settings and if you want to go on the internet it will cost you money aswell.

just google blackberry settings for o2 or something

u have to ring o2 helpline and ask them for the correct web setting for that fone such as the proxy address  point of access ... each company are different and ur fone will be preset to vodafones settings there easily changed .... changing the sim will connect the phone to the o2 pone network but will not chance the setting on the fone it ant a sim card problem ive done it on many fones just ring the helpline they will be more than  happy to mail u with  the details or speek u truogh changing the settings so if u think ahead call on a different phone than the one u have there so u can chance the settings as they talk u tru it

i dont know if you can get the email and maps with a PAYG sim because the same thing has happened to me with my vodafone Pearl 8110
