Blackberry pearl 8100 troubleshooting?

I recently was given a blackberry pearl for my birthday. But it was for AT&T so i unlocked it for t-mobile which is my cell phone provider. But i cant send or receive pics or view the pics on my phone or use the mp3 player every time i click to view one of those things i get this: unable to display file/device memory/user/home/user/pictures this happens when i try to view any type of media on my phone it only lets me use the phone and send regular text messages i called t-mobile and AT&T but they don't know whats wrong with it. Also my phone doesn't have a memory card but i don't think thats the problem.

If you want to use media, I would highly suggest buying a MicroSD card. They are about $20.

If this is not a brand new phone, I would load the newest operating system onto the phone, but you will want to backup your phone if you dont want to lose your contacts, etc.
