Blackberry pearl internet?

Question

i have a balckberry pearl with internet acess.

when i was getting it, the lady at the store said that

theres a software you can download that will allow

you to connect the internect form your blackberry to your

laptop when theres no wi-fi. so pretty much, youre laptop

uses the internet from your phone. and dont tell me you cant

do that, because she guaranteed me you can because

she watched her friend do it. please help.

oh and i have alltel, incase you need to know...

does anyone know what the software is and how to use it?

Yes, you can do that.  Make sure you have the desktop software loaded to the laptop you are referring to.  I have only done it once, but you can do that.
