  1. You get the blackberry plan and its like 35 dollars and its comes with internet, e-mail, etc. Its a good phone but its more for business and stuff. I have the white one but i'm trying to sale it because I just got the side kick slide. There really isn't anything special about the blackberry, I had the blackberry plan and felt like it was a waste of money because the internet was always really slow, and the e-mail thing wasn't that great. It just sent the e-mails right to your phone.

  2. Yes, the BlackBerry data plan costs extra. It is required if you want to browse the Internet or have e-mail pushed to your phone.

  3. Unless you are running or part of a large coorperation, these feature will not be worth it when you're paying over 70 dollars a month (cheapest data plan plus cheapest minute plan) or more.  I have a blackberry pearl, and I just using it for text messaging and calling, and I love it.  The screen is pretty tiny for internet anyways.  If you really want internet, I would save some cash and effort by purchasing a Palm or iPod Touch:  They run about 200$ new on Amazon or Ebay, and you get a big screen and clear, crisp images and pages, plus easier to type emails.  Plus, the internet is absolutely free anywhere that has wireless internet: school, work, home?, public libraries, coffee houses, etc.  In seven months of using internet and email plans, you would completely pay off one of these devices.

One more thing: if you do decide to use an internet & email plan, don't cancel until your contract is up, or else your contract will be extended for two more years.

    Happy Phoning :)

  4. email i don't think it costs extra and with the internet it depends on what carrier you have. like i have t-mobile and it has something called t-zones and it is simaler to internet but it is free. internet would cost me $6 extra. but i have no idea about the other plans.

i'm sure on blackberry.com it could give you the details. it helped me out ALOT when i first got my phone and how to go to different places on it.

    i hoped this help :-)
