okay well i have the blackberry pearl, and i was wondering if i could get AIM (aol instant messenger) on my phone, without the internet turned on. and i have the 2GB micro sd memory card if you need to know that,

If you dont have internet, you may be able to use it based on using your text messaging feature instead of internet.
