Blackberry pearl text messaging??

i have at&t and i am looking into getting a blackberry pearl. i currently have the 29.99 unlimited text plan but i was wondering if i need a certain different blackberry text package to send text messages because i have heard that. please let me know because the guy that is selling me the pearl needs to know soon. thanks !

  1. I thought you had to have a blackberry package.


  2. No, you don't need a different plan for texting on the blackberry... You only need to add a plan if you want the web browswer and e-mail application
