Blackberry peral and LG shine?

would it be pointless to get a blackberry peral if i cant have internet on it? i want a cool phone for texting for at&t.. and im not sure what i should get. i thought about the LG shine. let me know..

i would def get the blackberry pearl!!!! its way cooler than

the lg shine....one the shine is ugly an to the pearl has

the full keyborad for texting so i would def get the balckberry!
