Blackberry question!?

I am thinking about getting a blackberry Pearl from ATT, but I will be moving to Scotland in October for 6 months. Is it possible to switch the SIM cards (my ATT US one with a UK SIM card) and have my US Blackberry work in the UK? If this isn't clear enough, let me know and I will add more details if I can. Thanks!

No it won't wrk because the sim card here and the sim card in UK are different and even if it did work it would count as roming and you probably wouldn't get connection sorry 8(

Most models of Blackberry can be 'unlocked' so a different SIM card can be used. It can even be done online.
