No, I don't have a warranty. I know it was dumb of me to not get it.

Anyways, a friend of mine spilled OIL ( long story ) on my blackberry and it go through to the screen and now its a bit dark and blotchy. Everything else is running fine----is there a way to clean this, as in, fork it over to a shop or something to have it done or do I need to replace the phone completely?

  2. Your best bet is to call tech support through your provider .I had some trackball issues and tmobile tech support was able to help me clean it out  I say contact them first or ask the guys at crackberry first you  don't want to cause further damage

    hope i helped a little

  3. You will probably have to send it in for repair. Give Blackberry a call and ask them, if they can't repair it, you will have to fork over the cash for a new one. Do you have insurance on it? If so, try that route first! Good luck, and next time get a warranty on these things! Just thought of another thing, put it in the fridge. I don't know if it will work with oil or not, but the refridgerator has a condenser that will suck out water. When I dropped my Razr in the sink and discovered it couldn't swim (lol), Verizon told me to put it in the fridge over night and it worked very very well.
