Blackberry/similar type of phone w/out email???

Question

Is there anyway I can get a Verizon phone, like a Blackberry or anything similar, and not have email or internet on it so I can pay reg. phone charges instead of paying the $29.99 per month?

you can get a blackberry  just tell them  you dont want a data plan at this time

If you are on verizon get the new enV. It is great and I love it!. When my dad saw it and played with it he almost went out and bought one!

You won't be able to use a BlackBerry on Verizon with the BlackBerry data plan. I agree with the first poster. You might check out the enV or Voyager.
