Blackberry[-ten points]?

Question

Okay so I have a blackberry pearl,

and here's the situation:

After I charge my blackberry pearl,

through the outlet or computer,

it would s***w up.

The LED signal would give me a red and it would start showing the hourglass forever. Then the cycle starts all over again

It only happens after I charge it.

I've tried using my dad's charger but it would have the same effect.

I was at Cali on vacation and i charged it with my dad's charger

and nothing went wrong.

I've tried a hard reset many times but nothing works.

I've had this phone for about 2-3 months.

What's wrong with it?

Does the BB randomly switch off when you're on the phone? Or just randomly throughout the day?

I heard about the Pearl having what really **could** be a manufacturer fault, however, never saw anything solid. We had a few on trial at work which simply switched off, however, no one had raised the concerns you have raised - we ditched the Pearl...

The 8800 is quite good, and the curve is quite good too. Ask your provider if they would consider changing it on the grounds of the fault. maybe a "good faith/gesture" change.

You have to upload the software on blackberry.com every now and then in order to get those defects out. Its a smart phone so every now and then theirs new software to update your phone. Enjoy

In general, those phones suck. My sister ahd one. Try the Curve, she has that now.

you have to take out the battery out of the phone once a day..while the phone is on just open up the back  n take out the battery...let it reload...once a day its recommended..itll help big time..

I would bring it back to the company you got it at ( Unicel, U.S cellular and T- Mobile) tell them your problem and they will fix it for you!!

Blackberry's mess up a lot my mom has one.

go to their website, those phones are kinda weird&diffrent.

i used to have one, and you need to go to the website for like everything you need.
