I just got my first blackberry so I'm not really sure how everything works yet. Do i need a memory card just to receive video messages. I ask because every time I receive a video message it tells me to go to axcess my pics but I just want to view it from my phone.

  1. If it tells you to go access the website it's because your carrier isn't forwarding the message to you.

If the person who sends it to you is on a different provider they'll do that.

It has nothing to do with space, but you should get a memory (microSD) card anyway.

Maybe in the future inter-provider operability will be better, but you're stuck right now.

  2. Yes, I think you're going to need to use a memory card.  Video files are so big, you're not going to WANT to have them on your main memory.

When you get a video message, it won't download the whole thing until you click on it.  Once you do it needs to put that picture somewhere.

If you have a Pearl or  Curve, you're going to want to have a memory card anyway.  They have a great built in Media system so you can watch movies or listen to music with your Blackberry.
