Blackberry won't detect memory card?

Question

I have a 8100 Pearl, it had a memory card in there (128) but I wanted a bigger one, I got my old 512 card and put it in. It worked in my old phone, the Blackberry will not detect it on the screen on in desktop manager. Did I put it in wrong or what? :S

You didn't say what type of module. If it is MicroSD look for the "lock" switch.
