Blackburn Rovers http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ryan-Nelsen-c31992 confirms extension of contract
Blackburn http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rovers-c40385 skipper, Ryan Nelsen, has decided to extend his stay at Ewood Park club by signing a new 2-year contract with the Riversiders.
With the recent extension of his old contract, the player has nearly wiped off his chances of making a transfer from the club. He happens to be a prized possession of the club, and as a player, has great regard for the Blue and Whites.
The manager of Blackburn Rovers, Steve Kean, who has just received confirmation of a permanent contract to run the club for the next season, is looking forward to Ryan’s stay at the club.
Earlier Kean was on contract until the end of this season after Sam Allardyce got fired. Now that the former Scot player has officially been declared as the manager of the club and Nelsen too is staying for the next 2 years, it can be expected that the club
would come up with improved performances.
Ryan arrived at Blackburn in 2005 from Major League Soccer where he played for D.C. United, and so far he has capped 200 fixtures and scored 8 goals for the Riversiders.
Nelsen seems to be a happy with his contract extension. He has already announced his commitment to the club and allegiance to the new manager. With the talent pool of Riversiders increasing and the owners making ambitious moves towards new players, the club
is predicted to show a brighter future.

Blackburn have been quite busy in scouting or attempting to sign in new players this season. Previously they strived to sign Brazilian legend http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ronaldinho-c31733 and now are looking forward to acquire the services of Argentine veteran Riquelme.
Up till now they have signed Schalke’s midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Beckham-c10432 but the issue couldn’t grasp the English international’s
attention.

Now Rovers look forth to signing winger Sebastien Larsson from Birmingham City. Though the initial bid on him was rejected earlier, Riversiders have upped their amount as they plan to try their luck one more time.
