Sources reveal Blackburn http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Christopher-Samba-c9212.
The 27-year-old had wanted to leave the Rovers in the summer transfer window but manager Steve Kean managed to convince him to remain. However, Samba handed in a transfer request in the January transfer window, which was rejected by the club.
Kean revealed that while the player wanted to leave the club, the Rovers’ management had decided to not let the central defender leave before the end of the season. They successfully managed to keep the wantaway player, for the time being.
It seems Samba, who was reportedly unhappy with the management at the club due to broken promises, has finally succeeded in leave Ewood Park. Latest reports reveal he is on his way out of the English Premier League to join the ambitious Russian side.
Blackburn Rovers assistant manager Eric Black suggested in an interview regarding the issue that negotiations were ongoing with a club regarding Christopher Samba. The January transfer window may be closed but the Russian transfer window does not close until
late Friday and a deal could be possible.
Black said while speaking to reporters:
“I think negotiations are ongoing at the moment. I don't really know the details and I'm not really in a position to comment further on that, but negotiations are ongoing.”
While Black confirmed the Premier League side was holding talks with a  side regarding a move, he refused to confirm whether or not the club was Anzhi Makhachkala.
He continued:
“I'm not really aware to be honest.
I've only heard bits and pieces, but I know the manager is speaking as we speak and hopefully there will be an outcome soon.”
According to the Blackburn Rovers assistant manager the club had planned to keep the player until the end of the season but his absence had convinced them otherwise.
Black revealed:
“He hasn't played for a few weeks and our performances have been exceptional.
Obviously there was a blip at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429, but again, you look at the performances against Newcastle, Fulham and QPR and the guys that have been in there have done exceptionally well.”
