Blackburn Rovers future in good hands: Manager Steve Kean
Blackburn Rovers Manager Steve Kean has done his all to keep the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Christopher-Samba-c9212 at the club by offering new contracts. After the renewal of contracts, the Manager was extremely delighted and claimed that the contract extension reflected the positive future of the club. Nelsen signed a new deal which would keep him at the club till 2013, while Samba has extended his loyalties until 2014.
“When you can tie down key members of the squad, and they commit to the club for the long term, that can only be good for everybody. There was obviously the confusion early on when everything turned out the way it did,” said the coach.
The deal for both Samba and Nelsen comes after Kean’s job was confirmed by Rovers management, keeping him at Ewood Park up till year 2013.
“I’ve spoken to Chris, I've spoken to the owner, Chris has spoken to the owner and hopefully that will get put together and we can come out with some positive information alongside Ryan Nelsen committing himself for the rest of his career to the club, which was tremendous,” stated the elevated Manager.
Samba is the current team http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Captain-c8314 while Nelsen is the club Captain, so tying these two players down was extremely important for the club.
Not selling Charlie Adam: Blackpool Chairman Karl Oyston
Blackpool Chairman Karl Oyston has dismissed all reports stating that the club wants to sell off Charlie Adam due to the fact that Manager Ian Holloway would receive a cut from the transfer fee. Oyston stated that despite Holloway getting a percentage of the transfer fee, it is untrue that it is the reason behind the club needing a higher transfer for the club Captain. Adam has been linked to potential moves to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809, Birmingham City and Aston Villa but the club rejected them, owing to them being too nominal for a player of his talent. Holloway, however, notified that keeping Adam would always be a better option, as the bonus he would receive for keeping the club in the Premier League would surpass that of the transfer cut.
"This is insubstantial and insignificant and shouldn't be focused upon," stated the Chairman.
Blackpool has impressed everyone since their arrival in the Premier League and managed to put up a good fight against Manchester United. The side took a 2-0 lead over the title favourites but the Red Devils sought a good comeback and won the fixture 3-2.
