The Blackburn http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rovers-c40385 owners are thought to be low on funds, which is Kean has not been spending as much as he would have liked. However, after the poor result on opening day, they have now allowed the Rovers boss to bring in more signings to strengthen the squad.
Schalke 04 confirmed that the Premier League outfit had shown interest in their Spanish striker Raul, but the former Real Madrid chose to continue on in the Bundesliga. Therefore, Kean has had to turn his attention elsewhere.
He admitted that the club had been interested in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 international had been made to look like an agreement had been reached between the two sides, when that had never been the case.

Kean said in an interview:
“There are bids that have been accepted. We're at a point of having medicals today and tomorrow so that's positive, because it's been slow.
The lads are going to come here, we've agreed terms with a couple of players so we're hopeful next week we'll have another couple of faces to add to David Goodwillie and Radosav.
The good thing is we've followed through with things. It's been slow but we've stuck with it and it's coming together.”
Kean is hoping to improve this season, with the side barely avoiding relegation at the end of last season. He feels that will not be possible until reinforcements are brought in, especially with the amount of players having left the club and some of the key players suffering injuries.
