approach in the match. In the 64th minute, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Christopher-Samba-c9212 had a good opportunity to open the scoring for Blackburn Rovers as Brett Emerton’s free kick found the Congolese defender with a lofted ball inside the Manchester City penalty area. However,
Samba failed to make a good connection with the ball through his header and the chance went begging.
In the 67th minute, Michel Salgado took the game towards Manchester City as the Spanish defender took the ball past Yaya Toure. The former Real Madrid player won a corner as his eventual cross was blocked by Toure. Emerton took the corner kick
for Blackburn but his corner kick was easily cleared away by Lescott. The English defender headed the ball away towards David Silva. The Spanish playmaker carried the ball up the field and he had the audacity to try a curled effort at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Paul-c29347 Robinson’s goal
but the ball missed Blackburn’s goal by mere inches as the score line remained at nil all.
In the 69th minute, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Joleon-Lescott-c18941. The Zimbabwean international footballer unfortunately failed to get a good shot away at
Joe Hart’s goal and the Englishman held onto the ball. In the 70th minute, Emerton was booked by the referee for a late challenge on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Aleksandar-Kolarov-c4475.

after coming on for the away side. Silva played in the former Wolfsburg striker and Dzeko made no mistake with his first time finish as City took the lead at Ewood Park. The away side eventually held on despite a late offensive surge by Blackburn Rovers to
gain all three points through a one nil victory.
City dominated the first half and then did enough in the second half to merit a victory in the end. Blackburn did have their fair share of chances but weak finishing cost them in the end as Manchester City strengthened their hold on the fourth place spot
in the English Premier League.
