Blackburn in the running to sign http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ronaldinho-c31733
English Premier League club Blackburn http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rovers-c40385 have astonishingly joined the race to sign Brazilian superstar Ronaldinho, as his time at current club AC Milan seems certain to end in the coming days. Ronaldinho has been in close contact with Brazilian club
Gremio in recent weeks, but Blackburn’s sudden desire to buy the World Cup winner certainly comes as a promising prospect for the aging star.
Blackburn have reportedly offered Ronaldinho a staggering £130,000 a week contract. Ronaldinho’s brother and agent Roberto De Assis confirmed the Premier League clubs interest in the player, and stated that other English clubs are also lining up their offers.
However, he did not comment on the reported wages being offered to his client.
Blackburn currently lie 12th spot in the Premier League table, and their new Indian owners are trying to bring in a number of sweeping changes at the club. Days after taking over the owners dismissed manager Sam Allardyce. This latest attempt
to bring in the two-time FIFA World Player of the Year to Ewood Park is also being seen as a sign of the owners’ commitment towards improving the club.
Ronaldinho, meanwhile, is all set to begin talks with Gremio. On Sunday Assis stated, “He will arrive in Porto Alegre today in order to negotiate with Gremio, but nothing is decided yet. Everything depends on how these negotiations go. If we don't reach
an agreement with a club in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858 then he will return to Milan, as he is still a Milan player. We are not ruling anything out.”
Milan too have all but confirmed that the 30-year-old will be leaving the club, with manager Massimiliano Allegri expressing his disappointment over Ronaldinho’s expected move away from the club. Milan striker http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029 has also resigned himself
to the fact that the Brazilian is leaving the club.
Ibrahimovic said, “I'm disappointed Ronaldinho is no longer with us. In my view, he is one of the greatest champions of all time and it was an honour to play alongside him. It's true that recently he wasn't very happy on the field, but the important thing
is that he's happy now.”
