my canadian friend is coming to lancaster university for 9 months. Getting the train from Blackburn to Lancaster would cost too much so is it possible if he advertises for someone else in Blackburn to give him a lift who also goes to the university. If so where would i advertise.

  1. A standard day return from Blackburn to Lancaster is only £11.30.

  2. train isn't that dear,

you could just jump on the train, without paying go into the toilets, then too remember to change at Preston, and get a VIRGIN train from preston to lancaster, they never usually check. Done it loads off times. (:
