Blackfoot indian family crest?

could someone please help me find a way to see it...it kind of look like it has a bird....shooting start...a foot and its for the blackkfoot indians....

  1. I have no idea about Indian heraldry but let me tell you, there is no such thing as a family crest.  A crest is part of a coat of arms.   Coats of arms were and are granted to individuals and are passed down through the legtimate male line of descent.

    Most of the peddlers who sell them sell them based on a surname, which is not valid.

    Somebody might have designed something representing the blackfoot indians but it wouldn't be called a family crest.


  2. It's doubtful that a native american nation would have a "family crest," as this phrase reflects back to European ancestry.  It would be more likely that there may be certain symbols that are representative of the Blackfeet.  Check out this site: http://www.blackfeetnation.com/
