So I have been having Braxton Hicks for the past 3 weeks. I only get them usually at night its usually like twice. Today I had them every 20 minutes for the past 3 hours. My stomach is really tight and I have some cramping in the middle of my stomach below my belly button.

I also had a hot flash at work and blacked out a couple times today.Along With the BH. It was really hard to breathe and had to take many breaks.

Has this happened to anyone else?

  1. I don't know about the blacking out, but sometimes my stomach hurts like that i I haven't pooped in awhile-which is common in pregnancy. Minor cramps, like "twice a night" are pretty normal.  The hot flashes are pretty normal too. I get them constantly. But I would ask your doctor about the black outs. Have you been eating enough? Are you dehydrated?

  2. Blacking out is term that usually implies losing consciousness.  If you are pregnant and lost consciousness then someone should have called 911.  Now that you are conscious again, you should at least call your doctor, or get the hospital immediately.  I'm not even going to comment on your other symptoms, passing out is very serious!!!!

  3. i go to doctors and get checked

  4. You need to see your doctor.  You might be low on iron, and I think you should be sure they are just BH.

  5. don't you think you should call a doctor instead of asking randoms on yahoo?

  6. you need to eat something high in protein and drink plenty of water at least 8 -10 glasses a day you sound like you are really dehydrated and thats why you are blacking out and most likely having BH so early I suggest you go to the hospital and get checked out I honestly dont know why you havent gone thus far I blacked out once around 24-26 wks and went to the hospital immediatly it scared the h**l out of me.... They did an EKG and checked the babies heart rate and tested my blood sugar levels gave me a turkey sandwich and sprite and I had to stay there relaxed for at least an hour so they could monitor me and sent me home after I was feeling better normally I would just say eat something and relax but you said this has happened more than once you might need an IV to help you get the fluids and nutrician you need ....you have to remember the baby will take what it needs from us whether we have it or not so you have to be sure to eat something small every 2-3hrs and drink plenty of water or juice Good Luck and take it easy

  7. I would give a call to your OB. Sounds a little bit serious.
