I've been blacking out and getting dizzy for about 1 1/2 to 2 years now but it's gotten dramatically worse since i've been dieting. Every time i get up, i can't see for at least 10 seconds and if i get up in the middle of the night, i can't see for about 30 seconds. I diet but i keep myself healthy, nourished, and never deprived. plz tell me what's causing this and what i can do about it. Oh ya, i'm 14 years old.

  3. Tell your parents to take you to the doc!

  4. I am a CCMA

You need to see the following specialists

Neurologist to rule out tumor or other brain conditions

Ophthalmologist NOT a Optometrist and Ophthalmologist

There are eye conditions that will actually cause you to black out

  5. i know u say u arent depriving urself, and maybe ur getting enough food, but not enough calories. maybe eat food with more calories because it sounds like ur not getting enough nutrition

  6. Under eating can cause blacking out and getting dizzy.

If you are not under eating and if your blood pressure is below 90/60 then it is probably low BP.  Feeling faint and actual fainting spells and dizziness are common symptoms of low BP so that could be the problem.
