Question:

Blackjack II battery life issues?

I recently got a samsung blackjack II, and I've noticed the battery life is horrible...

I must charge it every night, or ittl' go dead on me the next day.

I use the internet about 20 min/day on average, in 3G coverage, and text a bit, but it surely does not seem like a justification for why my battery life would go from the estimated 336 hours (which is what AT&T says) to about 35 hours...

I got it about 3 weeks - a month ago, and I always try to make sure it has only one bar left before I recharge it.

any advice or knowledge on this would be quite helpful.

Thanks

  1. I would see about getting a replacement...  I got a BlackJack II about 4-5 months ago and charge it about once a week (and it still has 1/4 battery showing)

I use it less than that, mostly text and a few calls - nothing heavy.  My wife gets a few calls here and there and she charges maybe every 10+ days (with battery life still showing).

I would say you have a bad battery.  If you bought from AT&T they should take it back without question in the first 30 days.  I had to send mine back in the first week because it was locking up when I locked the keypad (had to remove battery to fix it) so they sent another with a return label and that was that.
