Do they have blackjack in england in casinos?

When I was in London last year, I played blackjack in a private casino, and also played Texas Holdem. Both games were played by basic Las Vegas Rules, but the variations in the London casino were not all that favorable.

I had to be sponsored by a local friend and to apply a couple days in advance, as I recall, but after that it was like a Vegas casino, but no free drinks, lol.
