  1. It sounds like you dont have a full understanding of the game, if you want to make money playing blackjack you need to understand every aspect of the game, first i would recoment you visit  http://www.qfit.com/blackjack.htm to get a basic understanding of how blackjack is dealt, and what card counting is, after that visit http://www.hitorstand.net to learn and practice "basic playing strategy" which is what your question is aimed at, these are the plays for each type of hand that will make you win the MOST OFTEN so that on average for all of your hands the house advantage is the smallest it can possibly be.

once you have that down, you need to learn the concept of a true count and use the deviations i posted for your other question to know when to hit or stand while playing blackjack and counting cards in the most efficient way.

Knowing soley how to make plays according to basic strategy as well as those relevant to the count is not enough to turn the tables on the casino, you will still expect to lose money if you incorperate only those skills, so go buy a book on the subject.

The cads are dealt from a standard 52 card deck or a stack of several 52 card decks (as many as 8)

typically it is dealt from 6 or 8 decks which is known as a multideck game sometimes 4, and in macao they use 5, but you dont want to play in macao

single and double deck games do exist but they are less common, it worth noting that basic strategy is different for single and double deck games as it is for multideck games.
