Oh dear, what a choice!!!! both are very drab to be honest but it depends why you are going. I wouldn't choose to stay in either place but just outside both there are some gorgeous towns that are well worth a visit.

Never been to Belfast but it has got to be better than Blackpool these days as Blackpool really is a dump and that is being polite.l

I would avoid Blackpool because I think that Blackpool is a dump and needs major money to be spent on it to do it up.

defo belfast...i was there a yrs or so back...you got city and that got everything for young and old....facinating stuff down Falls rd...bus service brill can get out to antrim coast quick and it breath taking...i been all over world and nr irland up there with the best....in fact i going back this yr,i asked a few questions myself perhaps you seen them i only posted yesterday,got some good answers...and most of the people so nice...stayed at international hostle,you can get some good deals there
